If you're wondering exactly what is on the cover of this book, it's exactly what it looks like. It is a human ovum with a number of sperm attempting to fertilize it.
Why would I put something like that on the cover? The short answer is that in vitro fertilization plays a big part in Hankura's research into psi factor. This is also a big part of the science fiction in this scifi romance novel.
When I wrote this book last year, it was going to be the final volume of The Aledan Series. Even if you haven't read any other book in the series, this is the book to read as it ties together most of the plot threads running through the first three books. My synopsis in an earlier post on this blog gives a lot of plot detail but I was very careful not to reveal what Hankura has discovered about psi factor and how it could put his family in danger.
Recently, while looking through a pile of old notes, I discovered an outline for a fifth book in the series. It needed revising after the unexpected direction that Psi Factor took, but it has possibilities. The Aledan's Children is the working title and it starts as they are returning to Oltarin from Velran and moves quickly to center on Hankura's and Chelle's three children(Jamerin, Lara, and Callan as young adults.
But, for now, if you are into SciFi Romance that's a bit sexy, give Psi Factor a try. It's available on Amazon, Smashwords, and Kobo for just $0.99.
